The stairs from the ground floor at this seaside cottage are indeed periodic and therefore are quite steep. Those with limited mobility may not be able to stay here comfortably.

Lowlands, Thorpeness
The cottage has a remarkable combination of contemporary design, ample living spaces, and the newest technologies on the ground floor, in addition to having an extremely rare position on the banks of Thorpeness Meare with an open vista to the lake. A rowing boat is available for your exploration of the many islands.
There are four bedrooms at the property, two of which are king-sized and two of which are twin. The living room features a log-burning fire, and the large garden has a deck overlooking the lake.

A lovely large open-plan kitchen, living area, and dining room is on the ground floor, as well as a bedroom and bathroom. Stairs with thick carpets lead to the first floor, where you’ll find two further bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom.
This property is ideally located close to the town centre, so guests will have no difficulty finding exactly what they need for a comfortable stay. What makes this property so great is the beautiful roof garden, where you can sit and admire the green scenery.

The beautiful and charming Sea Thrift Cottage is a two-bedroom terraced self-catering home located in a secluded spot off Aldeburgh’s High Street, providing first-floor views of the marshes. The open-hearth wood-burning stove is housed in a sash-windowed, sun-drenched kitchen/breakfast room in this charming cottage, which preserves a variety of period elements.
Sea Thrift Cottage has a shallow south-facing patio garden on the first floor, as well as a fully enclosed garden with a beautifully paved terrace and a grass landing leading to a bicycle store.
