Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel has the ambience of a bygone era along with contemporary amenities in a unique hotel and venue just north of Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Coast.

The hotel provides 36 comfortable rooms, some with views of the Meare, the gardens, or the extensive green golf course. There are two bars, a drawing room, a dining room, a library, and a snooker room.

Al fresco dining and pre-dinner drinks are perfect on the landscaped gardens and terrace during the Summer.

It’s a pleasure to play the 18-hole golf course no matter what time of year. Even the least experienced golfer can enjoy it because it’s set across a landscape of gorse and heather. In recent years, the hotel has drawn the attention of the PGA Super 60s in 2013 and the EGU Seniors Championship in 2012. Group golf excursions and breaks are offered.
