The Alex Café Bar & Brasserie is lucky enough to be set on the seafront right across the Felixstowe prom. This location boasts beautiful views and is open every day.
On the ground floor, The Café Bar offers a wide variety of refreshing drinks and a menu that features all-day breakfasts, like Eggs Benedict, and our Café Favourites (duck and hoisin wrap) in a laid-back setting. Indulge a delicious slice of cake and a freshly ground coffee or treat yourself to a jug of Cocktail or Adnams Ghostship and relax out on the big heated patio overlooking the tranquil ocean waters.
On the first floor (lift access), The Alex Brasserie is an informal venue that offers grill, seafood, and authentic brasserie-style fayre. The full menu is complemented by a set menu (2 courses for £13 or 3 courses for £17) available from noon till 6 pm, Monday to Friday and an extensive wine list. The Brasserie benefits from a picturesque, unrivalled sea view both of the pots our lobsters are harvested from daily by the local fisherman, and, one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes.

Halloween in The Alex Café Bar
On Saturday 28th October from 9.30 pm, The Alex Café Bar is hosting a Halloween Disco with DJ Lloyd Rust.
Fancy dress is welcome and there will be a selection of spooky cocktails over the weekend. Entry is free.
Jazz East at The Alex Brasserie

Christmas in The Brasserie
Christmas is on its way and we are ready to take bookings, in fact, some early birds have already reserved their tables!
If you’re more of a spur-of-the-moment type, we try to keep some tables available for you too. Our a la carte menu continues to be available alongside our Christmas menus – definitely something for everyone.
On Saturday 9th, Saturday 16th and Friday 22nd December we will be hosting DJs in the Café Bar, so you can get down and boogie after your Christmas meal.
From December 1st – 24th our 4-course dinner menu is available (pre-bookings only). It includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco, coffee and mints and is £32.95. Each diner will also receive a 241 voucher for use in the New Year.
Our December set lunch menu is available Monday to Friday, noon ’til 6 pm until December 24th. It too includes traditional turkey and the chef’s delicious Xmas pud (2 courses £17 or 3 courses £21). There is no need to book unless your party size is over 12 people.

Cocktail Time in The Café Bar
Happy Hour(s) 5 pm – 7 pm every day – all our delicious cocktails are only £5 each (or less). Made with premium products and passion.
Our summer cocktail menu has fresh, new varieties including a sweet but headstrong Lady Sybil, ‘berry’ nice Gin Rosado along with mojitos and sangria. A refreshing treat any time of day.
There are also some very moreish mocktails for the designated driver.

The Café Bar offers: Coffee and Cake for £4.00, Happy Hour every day 5 – 7 pm – all draught beers £3.20, all house wines £14.50, all cocktails £5. Beer by the 2-pint jug – Adnams £6.25, Bitburger £7.50, GhostShip £6.50 available anytime.
The Brasserie offers: Full A La Carte menu, 2 courses for £13 Set Menu, Sunday Roasts and fresh, local Catch of the Day, including oysters and mussels.
