Holbecks House B & B

Holbecks House
Hadleigh
Suffolk
United Kingdom
IP7 5PF

The rooms at Holbecks House are large, peaceful, and surrounded by landscaped gardens and parkland. The house is a historic Grade 11 Listed 18th-century country house with three double bedrooms, including one suite that can accommodate up to four people.

The building has a hipped, parapeted roof covered with slates and is constructed of timber with a plastered interior. It faces northeast and has additional wings to the southwest, which may date from an earlier period.

Walk up the path through wooded parkland to our 18th-century house, where you can relax in inviting rooms and browse through Persian rugs, antiques, hunting prints, and irreplaceable literature. The house is set on a hill on the outskirts of Hadleigh, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Visitors have easy access to the Munnins Art Museum in Dedham, Constable Country, the Gainsborough House in Sudbury, and the gorgeous cathedral city of Bury St Edmunds.

Tucked away in the unrivalled countryside of Suffolk. Holbecks offers two self-catering holiday lets, ideal for a relaxing getaway.

The Gardener’s Cottage at Holbecks is, as its name suggests, the house where the gardener lived. The walled garden, which used to provide food for the estate, sits beside it. The Garden Flat is a quaint ground-floor apartment with 18th-century-inspired decor set in the vast ground of the estate.
