Ipswich Tourist Guides provide a fascinating range of guided walks for the public around the town. With a range of regular Guided Walks around Ipswich from 1st May to 30th September and special walks from January throughout the year. See information below:
1st May to 30th September (Regular Rota Walks)
Times: 2.15 p.m
Ticket prices: £4.00 per person
Tuesdays and Thursdays, occasional Saturdays, Sundays and some Summer evenings.
Walks normally commence at the Tourist Information Centre and have a duration of approximately 90 minutes.
Ipswich Tourist Guides also arrange special walks throughout the year. These include a very popular programme of Afternoon Tea Walks from January to April and extra walks during Suffolk Walking Festival in May each year. Please see Events section for details.
Summer Holiday Childrens Walks are held every Wednesday & Friday throughout the school holidays.
Armchair Walks are illustrated talks given by an Ipswich Tourist Guide at the host venue. Booked through the Tourist Information Centre there is a selection of titles to choose from. The cost is £50 for a one hour presentation.
