Melford Hall
This stunning National Trust property is the family home of the Hyde Parker’s who lovingly restored Melford Hall after it was partially destroyed by fire in 1942.
Beatrix Potter was a cousin of the Hyde Parkers so you’ll find plenty of memorabilia as well as a fine collections of furniture and porcelain. We also organise regular Teddy Bear picnics in the grounds in her honour.
The relaxing garden includes specimen trees and a Seventeenth Century Banqueting House. There is also a lovely 1 mile Park Walk that visitors can enjoy. Click thorugh to Visit Website now to find our opening times and cafe opening times.
