An ideal retreat for walkers and bird watchers alike, we have frequent visits from the local Barn Owl. The Little Egret also visits the stream that runs round part of the property boundary, visible from the cottages.

Choose from B&B; or our self catering cottages in the peaceful village of Middleton close to the Suffolk Coast, just 8 miles from both Aldeburgh and Southwold, and 3 miles from Minsmere bird reserve and the Suffolk heritage coast. Middleton itself has a useful Farm Shop with a good selection of local produce plus cakes, bread, milk and more. It is also a coffee shop serving various snacks and within walking distance of the cottages as is the excellent pub ‘The Bell’

Self Catering Cottages.

Standing in the entrance to Mill House, the owners 16th Century home, each self catering cottage benefits from a ground floor level, its own private garden and views over open countryside.

They have been tastefully converted and retain many of the original beams of the former barn.

The two cottages are fully equipped with colour television, radio, fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster, etc and are fully heated.

They both sleep two adults (regret they are not equipped or suitable for children) and each cottage comprises:

* sitting room/dining area
* open plan kitchen
* double bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom
* dedicated garden area with garden furniture for each cottage

The cottages are on one level with no steps and there is adequate parking at the rear of the property. All electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Per Week Rental Charges: March & April £280.00: May-Oct.inc. £290.00
Nov.-Feb.: £270.00 Christmas & New Year: £300.00
A £50.00 non refundable deposit is required when booking.

Short breaks available November to March (minimum 2 days) @ £65.00 per day.

Well behaved pets are welcome in the cottages – Free of charge

Mill House B&B;

En-suite B&B; in 16C Mill House. Set in 4 acres with attractive mature gardens for guests to enjoy and situated on the edge of the pretty village of Middleton, within easy level walking distance of the ‘The Bell’ which offers excellent meals for which it has won awards.
Twin & king size rooms are available with tea and coffee making facilities & tv. There is a guest sitting room and adequate off road parking
.
The per room rate is £70 twin/king size & £55 single – both including a full English breakfast. 1 night only rate is £85.

In the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, within a ten-mile radius are the towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings Concert Hall – home of the Aldeburgh Festival, and the beaches at Dunwich and Walberswick.
