Sophie and her team bake their delicious bread every day and it is for sale at the bar from approx 10am onwards. Call us to pre-order. There are several types of bread, baguette, white, brown loaf or sourdough.
Our passion is for local produce and small suppliers wherever possible; gorgeous wines, a wide variety of bottled beers and real ales. Our restaurant offers delicious food for every occasion, formal or casual, and we also have 10 cosy bedrooms including 6 eco-clad garden chalets.
Restaurant and Bar Food
Some of the local suppliers we favour include Red Poll Beef, Blythburgh Pork, Marybelle Dairy, and fish from Lowestoft. There is an ever-changing menu of daily specials we offer the same menu in the restaurant and bar. We welcome walk-ins and on warmer days we have outside seating for 150 on three terraces, with table service available.
Our renovated and heated flint barn is a perfect space for meetings, parties or private dinners. It is equipped with a drop-down screen and a projector, ideal for business meetings, corporate training or presentations. It has been put to good use in the cause of village-based charity fund-raising projects as well as cask beer festivals.
