The Great House is an impressive building on Market Square dating back to the heyday of Lavenham’s wool trade. The property has been extensively renovated over the years, including the recent addition of a stunning Terrace Garden for al fresco dining. The owners, Regis and Martine Crepy, converted the house into a charming small Hotel and restaurant when they bought it in 1985, and it has gone from strength to strength since. The menu is predominantly French and is an award-winning and widely acclaimed Suffolk restaurant.
