The Old Cannon Brewery

86 Cannon Street
Bury St Edmunds
Suffolk
United Kingdom
IP33 1JR

At the Old Cannon Brewery you can see beer in the making & then taste the results! Beers are still brewed on the premises using East Anglian grown and malted barley, choice hops and yeast.

This privately owned, genuinely independent free house also offers a Bar, Brassiere and Bed & Breakfast. Former runners-up in the Suffolk Food & Drink Awards for Best Food Pub, the Kitchen serves fresh and seasonal produce purchased from known local producers – our style is British traditional/East Anglian regional with a twist

Restaurant
Our highly experienced chef, Adrian Newcombe prepares his Brassiere menu, ‘Cannon Fodder’, using local, seasonal produce and our starters and main dishes cater for all tastes and appetites. We offer at least three daily specials as well as light bites and plenty of choice for vegetarians. As all the food is prepared from scratch, we can usually adapt dishes for special dietary requirements too.

Our home made puddings and British cheeseboard are definitely worth saving space for! Click through to our website now to book your break or meal at The Old Cannon Brewery, and enjoy the unique entertainment of watching your beer being brewed at the same time!
