YHA Blaxhall
Our B&B; Hostel is the perfect location for a getaway break. We are proud of our fantastic food, and offer full English breakfasts with continental buffet for only £4.95. Our well-renowned food is created with the seasons in mind – expect hearty, warming soups and casseroles on cold days, and delicious salad and savoury tart options on hot summer days. Better still, our three course special for £11.95 and kids eat free promotion means a family of four can eat great food for less than £22.
We offer everything from camping to en-suite single rooms, double bedded rooms, private family rooms and dormitory space for travellers on a budget.
Our hostel was once Blaxhall’s old schoolhouse, and home to the writer George Ewart Evans. The hostel has been carefully refurbished to bring it up to the standards of 2010, whilst taking care to retain something of the character of the old schoolhouse building. We are situated in the picturesque village of Blaxhall, close to Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo, and near some great birdwatching hotspots.
