Gates open at 8:30am, and trade stands pack up at 5pm.
Ampton Point-to-Point Racecourse, Ingham, Bury St Edmunds, IP31 1NG

Don't horse around at home on Sunday 13th May, go to the South Suffolk Show at Ampton point-to-point racecourse near Bury St Edmunds to see the real thing!

This year’s traditional agricultural show will be celebrating country life with the stunt riders of ‘The Cavalry of Heroes’ performing a tribute to the horses and soldiers of World War One in the grand ring, marking 100 years since the end of The Great War.

Horses can also be seen competing in the show’s dedicated equine area with jumping, carriage and show classes. And having proved popular since its introduction at the show three years ago, the Farriery Competition will be running for master and apprentice farriers to demonstrate their craft whilst competing against the clock.

Amongst the great array of tradestands exhibiting their wares, horse power of a different nature will be on show, from vintage tractors to the latest bit of farmyard kit, along with the skilful creations available to purchase in the craft marquee and a tempting selection of delicacies not to be missed in the food hall!
And for those feeling inspired by the day’s activities and wanting a go in the saddle themselves, there’s always ‘The Gallopers’ at the visiting vintage fair!

Tickets this year will cost £12.00 per adult, £6 for children aged up to 15 (under 5’s go free), £7 for concessions, and a family ticket for 2 adults and up to 3 children will be available for purchase at £30. Alternatively visit www.southsuffolkshow.co.uk for details of advance purchase discounted tickets.
