Matthew Townshend Productions is bringing its superb adaptation of Sheridan Morley’s Noel and Gertie to Felixstowe!
The show chronicles the legendary lifelong friendship of playwright Noel Coward and actress Gertrude Lawrence. Featuring songs, sketches and scenes from some of Coward’s finest works, it pays tribute to two of the best-loved performers of this century while taking a well-orchestrated trip down memory lane.

Set in the early 1900's, A group of three couples, old friends and all married on the same day in the same chapel, gathers at the Helliwells' home to celebrate their silver anniversary. When they discover that they are not legally married, each couple initially reacts with proper Victorian horror what will the neighbours think? and all three couples find themselves re-evaluating their marriages; hovering closely over the proceedings is the Yorkshire Argus alcohol-soaked photographer, keen to record the evening's events for posterity, and a wickedly destructive housekeeper who is hoping to use the couples mortification to her own advantage.

Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically acclaimed production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, faithfully adapting four of Eric Carle’s stories. The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and, of course, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

This is the story of love overcoming duty with a little help, and a lot of confusion, from our magical mischievous friends.

Spinning Wheel Youth Takeover is a unique opportunity for 15-25 year old aspiring actors, designers and technicians. This production has been designed, produced and managed by the Takeover team. It's a rare chance for young people to take full control of every aspect of a project providing a vital, realistic experience of working in the world of theatre.

Three days of incredible local and international talent including headliners Folk legend and ex-Bellowhead frontman Jon Boden stepping out solo, and 2017 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nominees Nancy Kerr, Kris Drever & Ninebarrowm plus Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys.



Not to mention art, poetry, dance, yoga, great food and drink and a ton of fun activities for the children.
